1.) Oct.26, 2005-J.R. filed a “Relief From judgement Petition”
3.) June 14, 2018 (Attorney Hired 2017)-Attorney filed “Motion to Withdraw” the Petition
5.)Aug. 14, 2019-Hearing held to dismiss due to the State’s late response.

2.) March 1, 2007- J.R. filed a supplemental to that petition
4.) June 13, 2019- J.R.’s Attorney filed the initial petition
6.) 2022-The Judge has NOT ruled on the 2019 Hearing, to this day.
1.) Oct.26, 2007-J.R. filed a Relief from Judgement Petition (2-1401). The State never responded.
2.) March 1, 2007-J.R. filed a Supplemental Petition to bring newly discovered evidence of perjury. The State never appeared of filed an answer to either of these pleadings.
3.) Attorney hired in 2017
June 14, 2018-J.R.’s Attorney filed a Motion to Withdraw the petition that he filed in it’s entirety. The court subsequently granted the
petition and gave J.R. a year to file the petition.
4.) June 13, 2019- J.R.’s Attorney refiled the petition, reasserting the claim of Actual Innocent, Fraudulent Concealment of Evidence, Jury
Packing and an Unconstitutional Sentence. The State was to respond within 30 days. The State filed a response after the 30 days (August 14,
2019).
5.) November 14, 2019-Hearing was held to dismiss due to the State filing their Motion to Dismiss late. Judge stated that he would rule in 2
weeks.
6. 2022- To this day, he still has not ruled.
7. 2024- Final hearing was denied and attorney stated that he would not continue to move forward with the appeals process.
8. 2025 Current and patiently waiting for clemency decision. While in the waiting period the Justice for J.R. advocated will conduct a rally April 28, 2025
